With the larger instrument measuring 6.25" overall (5.875" cutout) and the two smaller gauges at 3" fitting into 2.75" holes, this is one distinctive choice. instrumentation due to precise lighting allowing you see what
is truly important when you really need it at a quick glance. Each
number, tick mark, annunciator, needle, indicator and digital message
center is lit by a series of LEDs behind the gauge face. Standard Displays: Odometer (One time user settable, Million Mile) Performance Meters: 0-60 MPH Timer (0-100 kmh)

Water Temperature - 1/8" NPT, ground isolated sensor with a 10 ft harness. Oil Pressure - 1/8" NPT solid state sensor with a 10 ft harness. Cable Drive Speed Sensor/Generator - Replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness (Tremec and Ford style adapters available upon request). Bushings - Each kit comes with 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings along with bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads. Calibration Pushbutton - Dakota Digital instruments are programmed and operated by the push of a button. Simply mount the included pushbuttons supplied with your gauges in a convenient and easily accessible location. These buttons are used to calibrate your speedometer, set the cylinder count and the fuel level gauge. Once properly configured these same buttons are used to access the wealth of information located in the Digital Message Centers. More info about this system and pics are available below. Mon, 15 May 2006BMW unveiled their latest concept in the run up to the contemporary Mille Miglia, a road race for cars that competed during the original event held between 1933 and 1957. The BMW 328 that set the fastest time in 1940, averaging over 100mph, has also provided inspiration for the Coupe Concept, which mixes the older car's silhouette with surfaces closer to the Z4 on which it is based. Powered by BMW's seminal 343PS engine, the car is wrapped with carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP), whose form is defined by designers using plaster rather than clay "for a closer emotional experience".
Infiniti G to get Mercedes engine
Thu, 08 Apr 2010Infiniti’s volume line, the G series, will get a Mercedes-Benz engine as part the global alliance between Daimler AG and Renault-Nissan, the story AutoWeek blew wide open at the end of March. Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Renault SA and Nissan Motor Co., said the G will use a Mercedes inline four-cylinder from Daimler to improve fuel economy and cut emissions. He didn’t say when the engine would reach Infiniti production lines or indicate the extent to which it will replace Japanese-made four-cylinder and V6 engines used in the G sedan and coupe.
