In most applications you can reuse the original generator belt tension bracket. If your original bracket is not curved to fit around the body of the generator, that is when this bracket should be used. Kits will fit Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, DeSoto, Dodge, Ford, Hudson, Lincoln, Mercury, Nash, Oldsmobile, Packard, Plymouth, Pontiac, Studebaker, and Willys.
