Wed, 20 Aug 2008Peugeot is poised to reveal the latest in its ‘RC' range of concept cars at the Paris Motor Show in October. Continuing on from the RC Spade and RC Diamond concept cars unveiled at the 2002 Geneva Motor Show, the as yet unnamed concept also follows on from the 908 RC V12 diesel concept of 2006. Designed by a team led by Peugeot head of design Jérôme Gallix, the four door, four seat sedan is claimed to be an accessible and versatile eco-efficient GT coupé.
Mercedes GLA goes in to production in Germany
Sat, 07 Dec 2013The Mercedes GLA (pictured) goes in to production The new Mercedes GLA – Mercedes’ latest spin-off from the A Class – arrived at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September as an urban SUV come Crossover, extending Mercedes reach in the premium compact sector with a serious competitor in the urban SUV market. With the growing fondness for high-riding cars – and something that’s a bit butch too – the SUV/Crossover take on the Mercedes A Class is a sound way to go and now, with production starting in Germany this week of the new GLA, Mercedes is getting close to having the GLA in customers’ hands. The first GLAs to get in to the hands of customers will probably be the GLA Edition 1 – a launch model with plenty of toys – but the model that will perhaps be most interesting is the GLA 45 AMG, with the promise of the same rufty-tufty compact SUV goodness as the rest of the range but with the 4WD platform and high performance 2.0 litre Turbo from the A 45 AMG.

Wed, 16 May 2012SEAT Mii FR Line SEAT are previewing a sporty version of the Mii at the Worthersee Tour tuning festival this week – the SEAT Mii FR Line. The all things VW Group Festival that is the Worthersee Tour kicks off this weekend, so there’s a fair chance we’ll be seeing more pimped, tuned and titivated VW Group cars over the next few days. Today’s offering comes from VW’s slightly troubled Iberian arm with the reveal of a sporty SEAT Mii FR Line, which is lots of show but no extra go.
