The Modula Oval Cross Bar System is a universal fit roof rack cross bar. Designed to fit most vehicles with raised (open) side rails. These roof rack cross bars have a low profile and do not extend past your vehicles side roof rails. The close to factory design should produce less wind noise as compared to a square bar roof rack system. The Modula Oval Cross Bars are designed to accept most clamp on carriers and racks. The kit comes complete with instructions and everything necessary to install to a vehicle with raised (open) side rails. These cross bars attach to your vehicles side rails using a plastic coated, flexible metal strap which wraps around the side rail and securely cinches tight using the included wrench. If your vehicle does not have factory installed side rails these cross bars will not work for you. These cross bars may not work on some vehicles with extremely wide side rails, such as a Ford Flex. Please, if you have any questions regarding fitment contact us before purchasing.

Toyota Prius+ gets a bit of a tweak for 2015

Thu, 09 Oct 2014

Toyota Prius+ gets a bit of a tweak for 2015 It’s more than three years since Toyota took the Prius and turned it in to the world’s only seven-seat MPV – the Toyota Prius+ – and more than two years since it arrived in the UK. So it’s time for a tweak or two. The cosmetic changes to the Prius+ are, by any standards, minor and consist of the normal facelift fodder with tweaks at the front – new grill design and badge and LED lights – and the back – redesigned bumper, slightly different lights and some trim round the numberplate – being pretty much it for the exterior.

The North American Subaru Outback Sport - a strong hint at the Impreza XV? This is a bit of an odd one. Really.

Walt Arfons: 1916-2013

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

No one seemed to know why the two brothers stopped talking, but their resulting rivalry led to some of the fastest cars ever built, two of which went more than 600 mph. Walt Arfons battled his half-brother Art on the Bonneville Salt Flats and at dragstrips across the country, but the pair rarely spoke over the course of one of the longest and most intense motorsport rivalries ever. Walt and Art started out working together, building a three-wheeled dragster in their native rural Ohio in 1952.
