The quieter, smoother and more efficient engine replaces the aging 1.7-litre unit that had been in service across the Vauxhall, Chevrolet and other General Motors brands for many years. The 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander crossover will be the official safety vehicle for the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 30. The Outlander will join two Mitsubishi race cars as they attack the 12.4-mile course.
