Torquey, lively and frugal, the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine is a little marvel, a fact recognised for the second year running by the judging panel for the Engine of the Year Awards, which has given the 1.0 litre EcoBoost the highest ever marks in the award’s fifteen year history. As we said, not exactly where you’d expect to find the mini-MPV, but good to see it being properly shaken down. As part of its centennial celebration, Chevy asked fans to vote online for their favorite vehicle from the marque's 100-year history. Nearly 125,000 people voted, and the Camaro edged out the 1970 Chevelle SS in the final round of the four-round elimination contest.
