Audi Q7 V12 TDi concept

By Ben Oliver Motor Shows 08 January 2007 04:15 A V12 diesel? You read that right; Audi has unveiled the first road car to be fitted with its Le Mans-winning V12 diesel engine. The Q7 V12 TDI is still officially a concept; Audi revealed the road-going version of its race engine at last year’s Paris motor show and hasn’t confirmed when it will go into production, but it will almost certainly be offered in both the Q7 and the A8.

The Megane RB8 comes in a fetching shade of Twilight Blue – inspired by F1, you may like to know – with contrasting Platinum Grey on the door handles, mirrors, spoiler and front splitter for a bit of added interest. TrueCar announces women's racing initiative

TrueCar, publishers of new-car-transaction data, revealed plans for a multiyear push into motorsports sponsorship but with a twist. TrueCar will throw its money behind female racers in premier series and up-and-coming ones in numerous development series. "TrueCar is built upon the foundation of empowering individuals with the tools and resources they need to become expert car buyers," TrueCar founder and CEO Scott Painter said.
