What is an UNDERDRIVE Pulley kit?

Underdrive pulleys increase performance by reducing the engines spinning weight and by under-driving all the accessories (a/c, alternator, p/s & w/p). Unorthodox Racing Pulley’s are engineered to maintain water pump and alternator and power steering efficiency, while adding the benefits of under-driving those accessories. Under-driving the pulley’s gives you 10-15% more power along with the benefits of the decreased weight of the billet aluminum.

New Ford Mondeo to get new 1.5 litre EcoBoost engine

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

The new EcoBoost engine will also be turning up in the Ford Fusion for North America, but the UK and Europe are going to have to wait until at least the end of 2014 – when we get the new Mondeo - before the new engine is on offer. The 1.5 litre EcoBoost offers improved economy and emissions compared to the 1.6 litre currently available  - with similar power, performance and torque compared –  but one of the main reasons for offering it is that many countries offer tax breaks for engines under 1.5 litres. The new engine will be built by Ford In Romania initially (although it will get churned out elsewhere too in due course) and offers turbocharging, direct fuel injection and variable valve timing.

Porsche Panamera (2009): first official photos

Mon, 24 Nov 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 24 November 2008 09:00 Today's launch of the new Porsche Panamera is a timely reminder that Porsche is no stranger to controversy. It is happiest pursuing mechanical layouts others deem impossible, turning gamekeeper and buying Volkswagen outright, and laughing in the face of cynics who deplore Porsche-badged off-roaders. The new Panamera sports saloon is going to reignite plenty more controversy, trust us.
