RTT Student Awards contest launched

Students from around the world have been invited to enter the annual RTT Student Award, sponsored by NVIDIA and Wacom. RTT has called for submissions of visionary ideas and concepts to enter in the categories of ‘Emerging Technology' and ‘Funky Visualization,' with an expert judging panel deciding on the highest caliber submissions. Winning students will present their project at Excite 2012, RTT's showcase for cutting-edge innovation and technology in the world of 3D real-time visualization.

Peugeot has finally released details of the Peugeot RCZ, which will launch at Frankfurt Despite our previous criticisms that the Peugeot RCZ looked like a clone of the old Audi TT, we think it’s a great looking car. It’s a real statement of intent to push Peugeot more towards the ‘Sporty’ and leave Citroen to do the ‘Luxury’. Mazda wins 2008 LA Design Challenge

The Mazda Kaan concept has won the fifth annual LA Design Challenge competition, part of the Design Los Angeles automobile designer's conference. The award was presented during the second press day of the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show, following a designers' luncheon and keynote speech by Daniel Simon, visionary futurist and author of Cosmic Motors. As we reported last month, nine local Southern California design studios entered the competition to envisage how motor sport vehicles might be in the year 2025, answering the theme ‘Motorsports 2025'.
