Very good condition - no writing on cover or inside, some staining on cover from age.

I believe this is the second of the series, original print, of the Up-Fixin der Porsche Manuals, a collection of technical articles taken from Panorama, 1961-1966, the official magazine of the Porsche Club of America, and mailed out, along with the magazine subscription.

Condition is very good for its' age, showing stains, but no writing inside or on cover. 

Doesn't show a print date but I believe it was 1966.

Covers early 356 series and introduction of 911 and 912. Rare.

Smart's $99 loan deal has big balloon payment at end

Hoping to benefit from the federal cash-for-guzzlers program, Smart USA has set up a $99 monthly payment for buyers who use their $4,500 rebate. But there's a catch--and a hefty balloon payment disclosed only as a note to an asterisk in Smart's press information announcing the offer. The Smart financing is for $99 a month for 36 months, with a balloon payment of $6,667 due at the end.

Direct injection petrol and diesel, hybridisation, downsizing, turbocharging, twin-charging the list of efficiency-boosting, fuel saving features being offered in new cars is becoming so long, buying a new one is like revising for exams. Is there room for another? Apparently so, but since there’s no official name for it yet we’ll call it ‘super-downsizing’ or in other words, using a very small engine in a not so small car.

The unveiling of the Audi R8 Spyder 5.2 FSI quattro at Frankfurt As we already know from previous reports, the Audi R8 Spyder comes equipped with just one engine option – the 5.2 litre V10 FSI. Which makes a lot of sense. The additional weight the convertible conversion has added – a not insignificant 476 lbs – would have had far more effect on the V8 than it does on the V10.
