This year's Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este took place over the weekend of 23-35 May. Bathed in spring sunshine, the lawns of the Grand Hotel Villa d'Este played host to the annual gathering of 50 of the world's finest classic and concept cars, and 35 motorbikes. Sadly, clashing commitments meant that CDN couldn't jet down to Lake Como this year.

The Citroen Numero 9 Concept (pictured) perhaps previews the new DS6 There have been very strong hints from Citroen for some time that the end of the Citroen C6 wasn’t the end of bigger Citroens, even if big Citroens have a history of only really selling well in France. That always made sense because Citroen now has a new market that appreciates bigger cars, particularly bigger cars that have smaller engines, and that’s China. We thought a DS6 was on its way in 2012 when  Citrone revealed a teaser photo on its Facebook page.
