I purchased these bags 2 mos. ago, for my 2012 Yamaha VSTAR 950. I'm selling the bike, or I wouldn't be selling them. They are in excellent condition, no rubs or rash that are noticeable. I did remove the brass rings inside the bag, used for locking the zipper, as they just got in the way when I closed the flap. They are the extra large studded version and sell for $605, the bracket was $149,, for a total of $754. The bags will fit all metrics with a purchase of a different bracket,, the bracket is for a VSTAR. They are quick detachable bags, with just the turn of 2 fasteners. The bags will not fit my Sportster, one of just a few that they won't fit, so I purchased another set. The very best , all leather bag, I have ever purchased. I will sell these , taking a loss , . Drayson Racing aiming for Electric car World Land Speed Record
Thu, 30 May 2013The Drayson B12 69/EV – heading to RAF Elvington to break the EV land speed record. One of the best uses for electric car technology is to deliver copious amounts of instant torque for track cars – far more than an ICE engine manages – and Drayson Racing Technology is aiming to prove how much that electric power can help by taking its Drayson B12 69/EV to RAF Elvington on 25th June to attempt to break the land speed record for an EV. That record – 175mph – has stood since 1975 (which probably shows how little EV technology has really moved on in the last 40 years), but the low-drag version of the Drayson electric Le Mans prototype is aiming to break that down the 1.86 mile runway at Elvington.
