Tue, 01 Apr 2008You Can Design America's Next Iconic Vehicle Michelin Challenge Design - the global transportation design competition in its ninth year - is looking for America's next iconic vehicle. Submissions for the 2009 program will be accepted through April 16, 2008. The winning designs will be evaluated for their uniqueness, emotional appeal, design courage and technical execution by a jury of automotive design professionals and receive prominent display in the MCD exhibit at the 2009 North American International Auto Show. Whereas previous limited-edition Veyrons such as the all-black Sang Noir made do with cosmetic changes, the Super Sport Bugatti has done a lot more than just give it a new lick of paint. Out go the large overhead air scoops, replaced by deep air ducts.

Based on the Alfa Romeo 166 platform, and derived from the 2009 concept X-power, the production SUV was be unveiled at this year's Guangzhou motor show. The Trumpchi SUV mixes the aesthetics of the two-year old X-power and the new Trumpchi sedan.
