USA MADE NEW voltage regulator 70-71-72-73-74 ROADRUNNER/CUDA/CHALLENGER/CHARGER/SATELLITE/CORONET/SUPERBEE/FURY/DART/DUSTER. PRETTY MUCH ANY MOPAR AFTER 1970.

WHY IS USA MADE?? I get 2-3 calls a week from customers who have electrical fires. After much research it is due to overcharging. All  of them have this in common, NEW voltage regulators built in another country. including MOPAR ones!!  so please do not use one made other then in USA! They are CHEAP for a reason! I have had no problems with these. These listed here are a special batch I found on a suppliers shelf. They came silver and I used adhesion promoter and applied the correct black. They are verified to be USA made.

GM to modify Chevrolet Volts to guard against battery fire

Thu, 05 Jan 2012

General Motors will add a structural reinforcement and devices to prevent overfilling of the battery cooling system in the Chevrolet Volt hybrid sedan to prevent the possibility of a fire after a side crash. The changes come seven months after a Volt caught fire three weeks after being crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The government agency in November opened a defect investigation into the Volt because of the battery fire.

Range Rover Evoque Sport back in the news

Fri, 04 May 2012

Range Rover Evoque Sport - back in the news The Range Rover Evoque Sport is back in the news after Land Rover design director Gerry McGovern hinted at it in Beijing. Last year we reported that a Range Rover Evoque Sport is planned after David Mitchell, Land Rover’s Evoque program director, confessed he was driving an Evoque with the 2.0 litre Ecoboost petrol engine turned up to 300bhp. Even if David Mitchell hadn’t confessed his pimped ride it would still have been a very sensible assumption that Land Rover would add a Range Rover Evoque Sport to the range at some point.
