One Lap of the Web: Packards -- Ask the man who knows way too much about one

-- For some light Wednesday reading, here's more information than you ever wanted to know about Packard. It includes the horrible neoclassics that plagued the 1970s, and the 1995 revival of the Packard name that attempted to stick a shortened rendition of the famous Packard grille in front of a 440-hp V12, all wrapped in a shape that looked like a melted Twix, as shown above. There's also the production versions of the Laguna Coupe and the shortened, three-door Kangoo Be Bop, and two new concepts in the Ondelios grand tourer and the Z.E. electric car.

Locke review: a road movie with a difference

Locke is a road movie with a difference – not to mention an enormous contrast to Need for Speed, which is the last heavy car content film I reviewed on MSN Cars. Simply put, Locke stars Tom Hardy and a BMW X5, and that’s about it. To say very much more than this would actually be to give away the, ahem, driving force of the plot – if you can even call it that.
