Included is a USB to Serial Adapter that will work with your Tech 2.  A great tool to have for a laptop when you want to program at the vehicle.

This is the tool you need to unlock all the features of the Tech 2. Allows programming of KEY FOBS, ECUs, and other Security Only features.

As an additional bonus there is Security Access to Chevrolet and other GM products before the switch to MDI.

A users guide is included with this auction.  Check my feedback and bid with confidence.

Please do not buy this unless you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 and have 1 USB port rated 2.1 or less.  Your computer MUST BE 64-bit!

To find out if your processor is 64-bit-capable in Windows 7, do the following:

  1. Open Performance Information and Tools by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type Performance Information and Tools, and then, in the list of results, click Performance Information and Tools.

  2. Do the following:

    • In Windows 7, click View and print detailed performance and system information.

  3. In the System section, you can see what type of operating system you're currently running under System type, and whether or not you can run a 64-bit version of Windows under 64-bit capable. (If your computer is already running a 64-bit version of Windows, you won't see the 64-bit capable listing.)

Does not include a Tech 2!
