Here's another part off of my 2003 K1200LT Engine with 150,000 miles on it.This item is the Pan with good threads holding the oil filter cover. They've never been over tightened. SO, if you've damaged yours in the past or someone did before you. this pan will solve your thread problem when changing your filter. Sometime in the past I must have hit something in the road that caused the 2 cooling fins to be damaged.(see Pics) The pan didn't leak so it should be usable even though it's looks were damaged.
