This 2.7L engine block was pulled from a 2006 chrysler 300 which had a single spun rod bearing that destroyed the crank shaft and heads due to bearing material in the oil supply. The crank main journal bearings is still intact however and 5 of the pistons and rods combo was intact except for the one with the spun rod bearing. This block can be used to rebuild in the case of a cracked block or damage cylinder wall. If you have any questions please ask. thanks

Nissan Leaf recall could force replacement of entire car

Nissan is recalling a total of 211 examples of the the Leaf pure-electric car supplied to the U.S., and another 65 Leafs sold in Canada for a problem involving missing spot welds in the motor compartment. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says that the front structural member assemblies in these cars could be missing welds in several crucial places, to the left and right of the electric motor. As a result, the affected Leafs might not perform well in a crash.

The styling echoes the new Chevy Malibu saloon, and the designers claim to have added seven miles to the Volt’s electric-only range by smoothing some of the edges and creases in the original shape. They claim the Volt will now travel 40 miles on electric power, enough for the daily needs of 70 percent of American drivers.
