Crowds come back to Concorso Italiano at Monterey weekend

New owner Tom McDowell had taken over the annual "Celebration of Italian Style" and moved the whole festival from the rather barren airport location to the sprawling Laguna Seca Golf Ranch just downhill from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Toll road plans 'to be scrapped'

CONTROVERSIAL plans to create the UK's first toll road for a decade are to be dropped, it was reported. Improvements to the A14 will instead be paid for by the Government, the Financial Times said. The proposed toll is part of a scheme to widen and improve a heavily congested 25-mile stretch in East Anglia which carries traffic from the port of Felixstowe to the Midlands.

Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger recalled to fix electric problem

Chrysler is recalling almost 120,000 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 sedans from the 2011 and 2012 model years to fix an electrical-system problem. The problem is with a fuse in the power-distribution center, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If the power center overheats it could lead to a loss of antilock brakes and electronic stability control, which could lead to a crash.
