Used for a couple of weeks while I waited on replacement parts. The paper gaskets look fine and might be ready to go, or they may need replaced.

EGR Valve & EGR Cooler Delete Kit - Complete with Thick Metal Plates, Connectors, & Gaskets - Fits BHW Engine

I had problems with my EGR valve getting stuck open. I bought this kit while I assessed the problem. I personally prefer having the cooler and valve in place for a couple of reasons. The only wear on any of this would be the paper gaskets. I believe you should have no trouble reusing them. One is very clean, the other has a spot on one side.

Of course this changes the emissions on your vehicle and can only be used if you are planning on off-road use.

P.S. I highly recommend replacing the gasket on the exhaust manifold with a metal OEM one when you do this delete. At first when I didn't, I got an exhaust leak in the engine compartment that lead to a limp mode status. It was resolved immediately when the gasket was replaced. I complained to the people I purchased the kit off of for not offering one with the kit.

The FCV Concept points clearly at Toyota’s first proper production fuel cell car – expected to hit Toyota showrooms in 2015 – and Toyota are keen we realise that, subject to a refuelling infrastructure, the hydrogen-powered FCV is just like owning a regular ICE car.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS (2009) (2nd gen 997) first photos

Wed, 19 Aug 2009

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 19 August 2009 09:42 Porsche has just unveiled these first photographs of the new second-generation 997 GT3 RS – Porsche shorthand for the hardest, most track-focused contemporary 911 yet. While some prefer the sledgehammer power of the new 911 Turbo and others choose the widowmaker, aka the loony, rear-drive turbocharged GT2, for many the 911 GT3 RS is the purest of the rear-engined Porsches. The new photos of the GT3 RS reveal a 911 that’s been fettled and feted, prepared for use cross-country or at Cadwell Park race track.
