Up for auction is a used heavy duty (HD) clutch assembly (pressure plate and clutch disk) that I just pulled out of my 1986 Mustang GT.  It worked fine, but I wanted to go back to stock/lighter pedal feel (mine is a street driven car and not raced).  The P/N on the clutch is CA7060 E47F4.  This appears to be similar to a Ford Racing HD or similar, but I have not been able to cross reference the p/n.

This clutch is a typical replacement for all 5.0 Mustangs with a 10.5" setup.  This should include '86 thru '95 5.0 cars and '96 to '00 4.6 engines.  However, please confirm your application prior to bidding.

I'm also included a new pilot bearing as shown in one of the pictures.  Throw-out bearing not included.

I recommend that the buyer clean the parts with a can of brake clean prior to installation to make sure they are good and clean.  And also turn the flywheel or buy a new flywheel when installing a new or used clutch.

Payment expected within 5 days of auction close.

The part will be shipped via FedEx ground residential service, tracking # provided once the unit ships.

Day 59 and counting for General Motors: Fritz says it like it is

With less than two months remaining to determine its fate, newly christened General Motors CEO Fritz Henderson held a press conference Tuesday to show Wall Street and Washington that the buck stops with him. He did a creditable job. No, he did not remind viewers of Alexander Haig so much as he played the part of confident commander in charge.

The 2010 Car Design of the Year awards, which took place at the annual Car Design Night at La Sip nightclub in Geneva last night, recognized the winners of the best production and concept cars of 2010 as voted by Car Design News readers in an online poll. With over 1000 votes taken in over a three month period, the winners finally emerged as the Range Rover Evoque and the Pininfarina Duettottanta in the Best Production and Best Concept Car design categories, respectively. Officially unveiled at the 2010 Paris motor show, the Range Rover Evoque represents the best translation from concept car to production vehicle we've seen in recent times.
