The Nissan GT-R sets a Lap Record at the Nurburgring Nissan has set several quick times at the Nurburgring in the GT-R – much to the consternation of Porsche who have accused Nissan of cheating – and this record lap was set during marathon few days back in April, where the Nissan GT-R set a Nurburgring time of  7:26.7. This video has Japanese commentary at the beginning – but who cares. It’s the lap you’re looking at.

Alfa Romeo Zagato TZ3 Stradale

Following on from the Villa d'Este Design Concept Award-winning TZ3 Corsa, Zagato has announced the production of nine more TZ3 models. Unlike the 8C-based TZ3 Corsa, the new Stradale will be based on a Dodge Viper ACR platform and V10 drivetrain, making it the 'first American Alfa Romeo' according to Zagato. The car is said to be a tribute to Alfa Romeo and Zagato's street legal heritage, and continues the line of cars that ended with the S.Z.

The Lamborghini Huracan tease rolls on relentlessly The arrival of the a new supercar from Lamborghini – whose core models don’t arrive much more than once a decade – should be a real event. Unfortunately, Lamborghini’s silly tease for the Gallardo’s replacement is an irritating and frustrating bit of nonsense. It started well enough with an oddly named website – The Hexagon Project – showing a simple starter button which, when pressed, played the sound of the new Lambo’s V10 roaring - a good start.
