Jaguar XF Sportbrake: It’s Dynamic
Fri, 31 Aug 2012Jaguar has released a new video of the XF Sportbrake highlighting its dynamic abilities as the Sportbrake nears Jaguar showrooms. Jaguar has learnt that a drip feed – within reason – of cars to come is a good way to keep interest piqued, and with the XF Sportbrake getting close to availability in Jaguar showrooms we get a new video highlighting its dynamic abilities. The XF Estate is a car Jaguar should have had from the start of the XF’s life (despite the lack of a 4WD XF at the time), but they’re working hard to make sure the Sportbrake gets market share at the end of the current XF’s life.
Webinars: Listen again to Autodesk 'Automotive visualization, new quality standards in Virtual Prototyping'
Thu, 28 Mar 2013Autodesk presented its latest Webinar, 'Automotive visualization, new quality standards in Virtual Prototyping', on 11 April. Virtual Prototyping is one of the most important steps in the development of a new car allowing the evaluation of a prototype in different aspects before it's even built. Autodesk's new VRED product line can be used throughout the whole design and construction process on a single data basis, without the need to re-do work.
McLaren P1 driven by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson (video)
Fri, 11 Oct 2013McLaren P1 driven by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson (pictured) It’s only a few days since McLaren revealed the first customer P1s are now rolling out of McLaren’s clinical production facility in Woking, and it looks like Jeremy Clarkson has bagged one to play with. The video (below) shows Clarkson behind the wheel of the new P1 which, judging by the number plate, is probably one of the first customer cars on the road. The opinionated one is preceded in the video by a pair of Range Rovers – one new, one old – at least one of which is a camera car, so this drive of the Mclaren P1 is obviously heading for a TV screen soon – hopefully on Top Gear.
