Modifications that have been done to the engine before take out includes: RLD Performance RLD-4 camshaft, LS6 (243) West Coast Cylinder Heads Stage 2 CNC ported heads. Comp Cams valve train includes: double valve springs, locators, retainers, keepers, pushrods, 1.75 ratio roller tip rockers w/ poly locks. LS6 intake manifold with 92mm throttle body. Bottom in is stock. Engine was tuned while it was in the car. It dynoed at 352hp at the rear wheels on a Mustang Dynometer. Engine hp at flywheel is unknown. Estimated hp is roughly around 450-475hp. |

As Autoweek went to press, the total was nudging towards 200, an early audit of the delectable selection of machinery arranged on the lawns around Hurtwood Park Polo Club suggesting at least 180 cars with more still to report. “We're hoping to get over the magic 200, but will have to wait and see,” said Gary John on behalf of the organizers, Brokersclub.
NHTSA unveils new safety ratings; BMW and Hyundai first to get five stars
Tue, 05 Oct 2010The 2011 BMW 5-series and the Hyundai Sonata were the first two cars to achieve five-star ratings under NHTSA's revised safety ratings announced on Tuesday. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will rate a total of 24 cars, 20 SUVs, nine pickups and two vans for the 2011 model year. The federal agency has significantly modified its rating process and will now grade side-pole testing and crash-prevention technologies such as lane-departure warning and electronic stability control.
