Mini Roadster (2012) first official pictures
Sat, 29 Oct 2011This is the new Mini Roadster - a second convertible for those who find the Mini Convertible a bit too pedestrian. It’s nearly a year since we reported that Hyundai were planning to make a performance version of the i30, with the 1.6 litre turbo from the Velsoter Turbo promising decent performance and up to 200bhp. Now Autoblog in Spain are reporting that a Hyundai i30 RS (or i30 R or i30 GT or i30…) will arrive at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as a prelude to a 2014 launch.
Lotus electric city car (2009) the first photos
Fri, 17 Jul 2009By Richard Webber First Official Pictures 17 July 2009 09:59 Lotus Engineering has turned its hand to city car design, and has produced this innovative electric vehicle concept, pitched at the urban driver of 2015. At just 2600mm in length and 1600mm wide, the Lotus supermini is even smaller than a Toyota iQ, but manages to match the Toyota’s 3+1 layout. The crucial aspect of the design is the aluminium spaceframe in the floor, which houses the batteries and electrical gubbins, while also providing stiffness and crash resistance.
