We mounted a remote VHF speaker in the middle. The speaker is included. As the pictures show there is a 1.25 inch hole in the middle of the back where electric cords came in and 4 small holes on the bottom. This Navpod fits on a sailboat console with 9.5 inch spaced rods. These pods are $250 new.
