GQbyCitroen unveiled in London

Wed, 10 Mar 2010

Two days after unveiling the Survolt and DS High Rider concepts at the Geneva motor show, Citroen last week pulled off a rare surprise by unveiling the GQbyCitroen - its third concept in three days. Instigated around a year ago, the project is a result of GQ Magazine's editor Dylan Jones questioning what his readers' ideal car might look like, and subsequently being put in touch with Citroen's Mark Lloyd, design manager for this project. The concept is a 4.5m long shooting break, based on the C4 platform.

Eagle Jaguar E-Type Speedster revealed

Fri, 24 Jul 2009

Jaguar E-Type Speedster by Eagle revealed at Salon Prive Eagle has been restoring and re-building Jaguar E-Types for 25 years. And a cracking job they do. From a simple (no such thing!) restoration of a classic E-Type, to a complete re-build with modern suspension and fettled oily bits, an Eagle E-Type is the very best way to enjoy a real classic.

Range Rover Evoque Convertible NOT going in to production. Thankfully.

Sun, 07 Apr 2013

It seems Land Rover is having second thoughts about making the Range Rover Evoque Convertible – shown at Geneva 2012 – in to a production model. But the one model we really couldn’t find a lot of positives in was the Range Rover Evoque Convertible – which arrived as a concept at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show – looking like the ultimate statement of Chav central for Tango’d ‘Ladies’ who lunch, from Brentwood via Surrey and up to Cheshire. We understood Land Rover’s impetus – they thought there’d be a market for a drop-top Evoque – but it really was a step too far for Land Rover to go.
