Used OEM 396 427 BBC Oil Pan Belair Biscayne Caprice Impala 1965 1966 1967

NOTE: Pan needs circular crack repaired at front mounting hole - to lower timing cover.

Used OEM survivor big block Chevy three step Belair, Biscayne Caprice, Impala oil pan, correct for 1965, 1966, 1967 396; 1966, 1967 396, 427. Early style factory oil pan with the additional mounting hole at the front of the pan that attaches to the early timing chain/gear camshaft cover (1965-67 only). Correct for all 1965 - 1967 passenger cars with the big blocks. Includes the period correct "A" stamped oil drain plug. Correct pan for passenger cars optioned with: 1965 396/325 HP; 396/425 HP; 1966 396/325 HP; 427/390 HP; 427/425 HP; 1967 396/325 HP; 427/385 HP; L34, L35, L73, L78 - 396; L36, L72, L88 - 427. Drain plug gasket needs replaced. There is a slit in the pan where at the front mounting hole where the pan attaches to the period correct timing cover (see picture details). Will need braze, mig or tig depending on your preference, or, trust it not to leak with a good gasket and some silicone. Sump end of pan has bumps and scrapes that should easily bump out with the correct tools and expertise. No visible damage found on remaining surface of pan underneath the baffle area except minor pitting in spots. Look the pictures over, what you see is what you get.

In fact the very same Mazda2 nose was already running off the production lines in Thailand in October 2009, so it seems most peculiar that the facelifted cars are only just starting to arrive in UK showrooms. The Infiniti FX crossover gets a light makeover and a small price increase ($100) for the 2012 model year, plus a limited-edition model. The base FX35 and FX50 all-wheel-drive models will go for $44,900 and $59,350 excluding destination. The Limited Edition FX35 starts at $51,550.

Jaguar XF - or is it a Tesla? Tesla seem convinced – or at least they’re doing all they can to convince the public – that the Tesla Model S is a soon to be reality, despite all in the industry saying they can’t deliver what they are offering – a high-end, luxury, high-spec sports saloon with a 300 mile range – for the sort of money they claim. That money – as we learned recently – is to be $69,500 for the Tesla S with the 300 mile battery, a price that’s had many scratching their heads over how Tesla can stick enough laptop batteries in the Model S to go that far, and how they can do it at a price that’s a good thirty per cent less than the ‘Lotus-with-batteries’ Tesla Roadster.
