Auctioning an USED OEM VW beige / tan driver's knee panel (left part) for MK4 Jetta / Golf. This is the panel that goes under the light switch (to the left under the steering column). Panel is in good used condition. It has minor damage to the left attachment tab (second picture) that still holds the panel in place fine when screwed in. There are minor signs of wear and it just needs a good cleaning. The second matching panel is listed in one of my other auctions. It is up to the buyer to confirm fitment and any other application other than in an Mk4 Jetta or Golf which will be at the buyer's sole risk. Buyer to verify compatibility as sale is final with no returns!

NADA asks U.S. to suspend clunkers program
Thu, 20 Aug 2009National Automobile Dealers Association officials asked the government to suspend the cash-for-clunkers program because a survey by the group found that the $3 billion fund has been exhausted, NADA Chairman John McEleney said. "We asked them to put a halt to the program--I think we said 'very soon'--but a suspension at midnight tonight would make sense," McEleney said in an interview Wednesday. "Our survey opened the eyes of the Transportation Department." A suspension would allow dealers to submit all pending claims and permit the government to process them so that a precise determination could be made of how much money, if any, is left in the program, he said.
