Electric Pump fits: 4.3, 5.0, and 5.7 Volvo Penta Engines
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING!!! I was experiencing stalling problems and hard starting with my motor. My mobile mechanic said it was the fuel pump. Because my existing fuel pump only had 16 hours on it, I very reluctantly purchased a new fuel pump from Doug Russell, Inc. (also on E-bay) for $860.00 only to learn after installation of the new pump that it did not solve my problem. This pump I am selling only has 16 hours on it and was used two seasons. The actual cause of the problem was a fuel pump relay. So before purchasing this fuel pump, check your fuel pump relay carefully. There is also a new fuel filter and water separator on this pump just purchased for $15.00. Please do not return your broken pump stating that my pump is not working because I have clearly scratched in today's date as you will see in photo number 4. Since the new pump is already installed and cannot be returned, I am not going through the process to remove it, so please do not ask. There is one little brass sleeve that fits between one of the four bolts that is missing as you will see in photo number 5. You can remove this brass sleeve from your old pump should you feel this is needed. The pump will be shipped upon receipt of payment. Shipment will be made only to the lower 48 states. |
