Up for auction is one standard sized used piston with rings for the Polaris Indy 650/RXL snowmobiles. There is some slight scoring on one side of the piston as can be seen in the pictures. I can feel a slight grove on the long scratch toward the bottom of the piston. The rings in the picture look the way they do because of the reflection when I took the pictures. The rings look great. I would not be afriad to use this piston.

Volkswagen Iroc concept

Mon, 28 Aug 2006

The Iroc is a show car preview of a production coupe to be launched next year that will fill a gap in the Volkswagen model line up left by the demise of the Corrado 11 years ago. Volkswagen describe the Iroc as "transferring the globally successful Scirocco idea into the future" - the Scirocco Mk1 by Giugiaro being produced from 1974-1982, the Mk2 from 1982-1992. Like the Scirocco, the Iroc is a front wheel drive coupe with four seats - as opposed to the 2+2 seating arrangement of the only other sports coupe from Volkswagen Group: the Audi TT.

One-fourth of U.S. drivers have trouble paying for auto repairs, AAA says

Thu, 04 Aug 2011

Americans have difficulty paying for costly vehicle repairs and are driving older cars longer, according to a survey released by AAA. One quarter of American drivers said they would be unable to pay for repairs to their vehicle of more than $2,000, and one in eight said they would be unable to pay for repairs of more than $1,000, the survey said. More than half of drivers said they are still driving an older vehicle “because they do not want the financial burden of a new one,” the survey said.
