USED Willie & Max SB752 Ranger Studded Super Slant Motorcycle Saddlebags

The leather is on good condition, the buckles are rusty, and the center piece is missing, I have 2 straps on instead (See Picture). There is a small tear on the top of one of them (pictured)There is also a burn mark on the bottom of one of them where it hit the muffler by accident.

These are great bags, and cost over 150 USD new!

MIT researchers rethink electric-car batteries

Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology say a new battery design for electric vehicles could be a lightweight and inexpensive alternative. The goal for the team's three-year project, launched in September 2010, is to have a functioning prototype ready to be engineered as a replacement for existing electric-car batteries. At this point in the project, the prototype uses a “semi-solid flow” to separate the two functions of a battery--storing energy and discharging it when needed--into separate physical structures.

Jaguar to be featured at Monterey Motorsports Reunion in August

Jaguar will take center stage in August as the featured marque at the 2011 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Jaguar's long history in competition and design will be highlighted and will include a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Jaguar E-type, the 60th anniversary of Stirling Moss's victory in a Jaguar C-type at Le Mans and Phil Hill's XK120's 1950 win at the inaugural Pebble Beach Road Races. This will be the third time the British car company has been featured in Monterey, in addition to 1976 and 1992.
