A host of luxury and performance cars went under the hammer at the BCA Blackbushe Top Car Auction this week, including a McLaren MP4-12C and a nearly-new Jaguar F-Type. BCA said, "the high-end prestige and sports car market has a strong following with buyers and we have seen lots of interest in high value vehicles during 2013, with bidders prepared to invest six-figure sums for the right vehicle." Audi is expected to reveal a 230hp quattro S1 at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The hot version of its A1 city car will be powered by the turbocharged 2.0-litre engine used in the Audi S3, and come with four-wheel drive as standard. It wasn't just about the Veloster hogging the limelight on Hyundai's stand at the 2011 Detroit auto show. The Curb concept car is a glimpse of a future rival to the Nissan Juke, and the Koreans even admitted it was a hint 'for the next generation of Hyundai buyers.' The new Curb is defiantly a concept car, but it also showcases Hyundai's Blue Link connectivity technology. Hyundai's Curb is the twelfth concept car to be designed at the company's Californian Design Center.
