This listing is for a winch and roller post for a boat trailer. This package includes a v hull roller which is suitable for v hull style jon boats and jet skis. The post plate is made from 3/16 inch steel and has four 3/8 inch bolt holes for the included U bolts, flat washers, and nylon nuts. The U bolts are 2 inches wide. The post itself is made from 14 gauge steel tubing. The post is slanted 30 degrees relative to the base. The post is 22 inches high measured from the base. The winch is brand new and it is rated for 600 lbs. The roller is also new and has a 3 inch length. The roller bracket is made from 3/16 inch steel. The roller extends out 8 3/4 inches. The measurement from the base to the centerline of the roller is 14 inches. This is great for jon boat or smaller trailers. Please ask questions before buying. Fisker, Energy Department face tough Congressional hearing on federal loans
Thu, 25 Apr 2013Struggling Fisker Automotive took a bludgeoning Wednesday on Capitol Hill from top congressional Republicans who compared Fisker to failed automotive startups of the past and lambasted the Department of Energy for allowing the electric-car producer to draw down nearly $200 million in taxpayer-funded loans. House Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., told Fisker founder Henrik Fisker that he will be remembered fondly for his design work for BMW and Aston Martin. But he compared Fisker to Malcolm Bricklin, John DeLorean and Preston Tucker -- three entrepreneurs known for their failed startup car companies.
