These are a pair of the old NASCAR V6 cylinder heads they ran back in the 90's. These heads work very well and highly-developed port at 272 c.i., they were making well over 500hp. These casting are not damaged, don't show any signs of having blown up, but they are just bare ported castings. These will make someone a lot of power on a V6 turbo motor or even work great for track day road race cars to keep the front end weight low. They are worth WAY more than my starting price.

It's easy to get the impression that SEMA is all about unattainable and outlandish show cars, ones that will never see the street, but in reality there is plenty of iron (or carbon fiber really) from all sides of all ponds that we could see people driving on the street. And just to reinforce that point, Volkswagen has brought a couple of tuned Jettas to SEMA that could almost pass for stock cars. This being SEMA, all that really means is that you're not looking hard enough -- the subtle cars you see are probably sleepers.

Detroit Electric reboots for Shanghai auto show

The Detroit Electric name is being revived in the Motor City. The company says it will reveal its first electric sports car -- based on the Lotus Elise -- at the Shanghai Motor Show in April, and begin selling in limited markets by August. That's a lofty goal for a company that just hit our radar on Tuesday morning.
