Original Mopar V8 trunk emblem in fair condition. It says "Plymouth" in faded script. It was removed from a 1955 Plymouth Savoy deck lid. This is 1 of 2 parts....the upper V emblem is required to hold this in place (not available). Although there is one available from another seller on eBay. This has heavy pitting and is good for a core or to complete a driver quality car.. It is a scarce part.

Lotus offers supercharger kits for the Elise and the Exige

The kits boost power in the naturally aspirated versions from about 189 hp to 218 hp and improve torque from 133 lb-ft to 155 lb-ft. Even better, this added power comes on quicker, with peak torque coming on at 5,000 rpm, rather than 6,800 rpm.
Former General Motors CEO Robert Stempel dies
Mon, 09 May 2011Former General Motors CEO Robert Stempel, who led the automaker during a turbulent period of recession and restructuring in the early 1990s, has died at the age of 77. "Bob was a very popular chairman with employees, and his many accomplishments as a visionary engineer included leading the development of the catalytic converter, one of the great environmental advancements in auto history," GM said in a statement. "His knowledge of battery development led to the push for the EV1 electric car, and Bob continued to build his expertise in the electrification of the automobile after he left GM in 1992." Stempel died Saturday in Florida, the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press reported Monday night.
