Ferrari Special Projects develops latest custom
Tue, 28 Aug 2012Ferrari's Special Projects team is developing its fifth car for Ferrari collector and petro-chemical magnate Cheerag Arya, dubbed the Arya SP. Arya, who has seven Ferrari's including a 599 GTO and 599 XX, signed off the design after being shown twelve design sketches and now a clay model has been approved and development is set to begin. "I told the designers what I wanted and they presented me with a total of 12 designs.
Faralli and Mazzanti Antas V8
Wed, 03 May 2006Farralli and Mazzanti, an Italian classic car restoration company, has created their first touring car, the Antas V8. Exhibited the other side of the border from Villa d'Este at the Top Marques exhibition in Monaco, the Antas V8 is also the first car created entirely in-house by Farralli and Mazzanti. Powered by a Maserati V8 - with carburettors - the Antas V8 is inspired both philosophically and materially by past 'special series'.
Porsche names new motorsports chief for North America
Fri, 24 Sep 2010Jens Walther has been named president and CEO of Porsche Motorsport North America, the automaker said Friday. Walther, 41, will take over for Paul Ritchie, who has retired. Walther managed Porsche’s One-Make Cup program before his appointment.
