Government sets drug-drive limits

Plans to introduce a drug-drive limit have edged closer as limits for 16 different drugs have been approved. Eight prescription and eight illicit drugs have been added to the regulations which will be introduced this autumn, meaning it’ll be an offence to be over the prescribed limits. The new Disco Volante marks the 60th anniversary of the original, but the new car comes with a 4.7-litre V8 engine with 450bhp borrowed from the Alfa Romeo 8C supercar. This means the new Disco Volante can see off 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 181mph.

Design Contest: Automotive design community gathers for annual design awards party in Paris

More than 300 senior members of the automotive design community will be attending the Interior Motives Design Awards 2004 ceremony to be held at Le Cab, Paris on 24 September, during the Paris Motor Show.
