Valentine One V1 Connection LE for iPhone

Introducing the THREAT-PICTURE for iPhone

V1 connection LE is a Bluetooth-enabled module about the size of your thumb that wirelessly links V1 to your compatible iPhone device.  Choose among three information screens at any time: one reproduces V1 front-panel warnings in real time, plus frequency and direction of the Priority Alert; another shows the continuously-updated Threat Picture featuring our new Arrow-in-the-Box concept, a revolutionary way of analyzing radar threats; yet another screen lists all threats within range, with direction, band ID and frequency for each, arranged by length of tracking time.  A yellow "Box"symbol appears for each threat "in the Box".

V1 connection LE also acts as the Master Controller for your V1 system, allowing you to revise programming, adjust SAVVY settings, change muting, activate dark mode, save custom programming profiles for different trips, and more, all from your compatible iphone/ipad/ipod touch.

Installation: Using the short, 3-inch cable (included), connect the RJ11 jack of the module to the ACC jack of V1's power adapter.  Then download the free app, called V1connection, the app, from the app store on your device.

Important compatibility requirements: Your device must have the Apple IOS 7.0 or higher, and will operate on the following devices: iPhone 4S and up, iPad 3rd generation and up, iPad mini, Ipod touch 5th generation and up.

V1 connection LE works with all V1s but its full capability is available only from V1s with ESP.  (Check for the ESP logo on the front panel below the Control Knob.)  On pre-ESP V1s, or when using a pre-ESP Concealed Display or Remote Audio Adapter, your handheld will serve as a wireless remote display of all V1's front-panel warnings, but other functions and screens are unavailable.

CAR meets Porsche’s 2014 Le Mans chief

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 11 December 2013 14:50 Porsche is returning to Le Mans in 2014 for the first time since 1998 with an all-new LMP1 prototype, and with ex-Red Bull Racing Formula One driver Mark Webber as its star driver. Audi has dominated Le Mans for the past decade, but new-for-2014 rules allow for any engine size and configuration, and instead focus on energy consumption per lap. With the slate wiped clean, 2014 will be Porsche’s best chance to beat its fellow VW Group member, and the strong Toyota team.

Desperately seeking Toyota Carina E

Fri, 30 Nov 2012

It’s 20 years next month since Toyota opened its Burnaston Plant in the UK, and they’re desperately seeking the earliest Carina E built in 1992. Twenty years ago next month, in December 1992, Toyota started producing cars in the UK in a new plant at Burnaston in Derbyshire. And with such a milestone looming, Toyota are keen to celebrate.

Lotus Exige LF1 Limited Edition – one for every Lotus F1 victory

Tue, 10 Jun 2014

Lotus Exige LF1 Limited Edition – one for every Lotus F1 victory It’s a nice idea to build a limited edition car – the Lotus Exige LF1 – to celebrate very one of the 81 victories Lotus has enjoyed in F1, but it does make you wonder if Lotus has done it because they’re never likely to win again (and if they do, do they produce another LF1?). Still, Lotus has pulled out the icon JPS livery for the Lotus Exige S (from the days cigarettes could be advertised) to give the LF1 a pretty paint job of black and gold (with added red bits) including a black and gold Lotus badge up front and a contrast stitched interior with F1 logos on the seats. Also interesting is that each car will receive a plaque commemorating each individual victory, from the 1960 win at Monaco with Stirling Moss behind the wheel to the last in Australia in 2013 with Kimi Raikkonen.
