The stylish, quick (in big-engined guise), 2-door coupe brought a certain dash to the products from Dagenham, even when it was powered by an asthmatic 1.3 litre engine putting out about 12bhp! Under the bonnet of the BMW 1-series M Coupe is a forced-induction six-cylinder engine, but purists should be kept happy by the fact that it’s still rear-drive and is only available with a manual gearbox. Plus the BMW 1-series M Coupe will cost less than £40k.
