The Gold Wing has one of the most loyal rider followings of any motorcycle. To design an OEM quality muffler system to satisfy this loyal following Vance & Hines began with a clean sheet design. For starters, our engineers developed a sophisticated sound canceling chamber within each muffler that provides a perfectly measured increase of the exhaust note and produces a usable increase in torque and horsepower. 

GL Monsters are oversized slip-ons that feature an angular design finished with massive 6-1/4” wide machined billet end caps that elegantly accent the Gold Wing’s bold stance. The Vance & Hines Monster design features full-length blue proof heat shields covering both the exterior and drivetrain-side components. The mellow exhaust note and the distinctive looks of the new GL Monsters will be a huge hit with GL riders who have longed for a system designed as well as the GL itself.

One-off coachbuilder Endora Cars has taken its (digital) scalpel and sheetmetal to the C6 Corvette. After the bandages were removed, the world was left with the Endora SC-1. The SC-1 is ready for production, according to Endora, and will feature three engine choices, all Corvette-based.

Road accidents' annual cost '£34bn'

THE TOTAL ANNUAL COST of road accidents, including the human suffering as well as the medical bills, could be more than £34 billion, according to Government estimates. Latest figures show that British road accidents that were reported in 2012 cost an estimated £15.12 billion. This included damage-only accidents but did not allow for unreported injury accidents.
