Lamborghini Aventador Roadster: Easy remove roof (video)
Tue, 13 Nov 2012We have video of the new Lamborghini Aventador Roadster at a private reveal in Miami showing that the roof really is easy to remove. It’s a great-looking car – even if it’s more Targa than Roadster – and comes with the same 6.5 litre V12 and 0-62mph of just 3.0 seconds as the coupe. More importantly, especially if you get caught in a shower, the Aventador Roadster actually has a roof that can be removed and re-fitted in quick sticks.
Infiniti EX35
Fri, 24 Aug 2007The EX35 is a slightly smaller and more mainstream SUV than its FX bigger brother from which it takes its core 'coupe SUV' theme. Despite the coupe design references, the vehicle is similar proportionally to the Lexus RX300 and BMW X3 which it will compete with in the US - and also in Europe when the Infiniti brand debuts next year. Little different to the Infiniti EX concept shown in New York, the EX35 uses the core Infiniti graphic design signatures and soft form language but introduces a new flowing side feature line not seen on the Infiniti G37 Coupe launched a few months ago. Interesting technical innovations include the 'Around View Monitor' that uses four cameras to give a 'top-down view' of the outside of the car, and 'Scratch Shield' - a new self-healing clearcoat paint. Manufacturers report 2013 sales boom
Wed, 08 Jan 2014CAR MANUFACTURERS are reporting strong surges in sales for 2013, with one mainstream brand up by more than 55%. So far Ford, Vauxhall, Skoda, MG, Lexus, Renault, Audi and Mercedes have all reported excellent sales performance, with Mercedes having passed the 100,000 registrations per year mark for the first time in the UK. Largely thanks to the introduction of the Dacia brand this year, the Renault Group has seen a 55.3% rise in sales, to 63,319 units.
