Austin Morris A35, A40, 1000 Traveller (with 948 cc), A Range 1956-62.

Austin Morris Mini 850, Mini Countryman, Mini Moke, Mini Traveller, Mini Van, A35 Van, (848cc) form 1959.

Austin Healey Sprite Mark I and II, (948 cc, 1958-62),

MG Midget (948 cc, 1962)  

Riley Elf (848cc).

These are .030 size. The Vandervell catalogue calls these out as 'heavy duty mains'.

Vandervell's have long been considered the best in engine bearings and were the original-equipment bearings for most British engines. They are favored by current race engine builders because of their quality.

Vandervell bearings have been out of production for many years. This is a new set from a vintage British inventory.

New and  just opened to photograph, part number VP592. Vandervell number on the bearing is VP4105.

Coachbuilder Bertone presented the Camargue at the 1972 Geneva Motor Show as a 2+2 coupe alternative to the quirky Citroën GS hatchback. Named after the coastal region in the south of France, the Camargue was aimed to appeal to a young trend-conscious target audience. Penned by Marcello Gandini, the silhouette remained undoubtedly Citroën with a long overhang at the front, short at the rear and a long, sloping roofline.

China's oldest car company rolled out its first vehicle on Aug. 1, 1958; it was a chrome-lined black sedan designed -- like the pastiche of 1950s cars it resembled, including the Packard-esque Chaika -- to strike equal amounts of fear and inspiration into the revolutionaries. CAR INSURANCE fraud is at a record high of £1.3 billion says the Association of British Insurers (ABI). This is a 34% increase over the previous year’s figures and is costing every household in the UK an extra £50 a year on their premium. Much of the fraud is due to ‘crash for cash’ incidents, where criminal drivers deliberately cause a collision with an innocent driver to claim for damage to their car and whiplash.
