Austin Morris A30, Minor, Seven, Traveller (all with 803cc engine), A Range 1952-56. Austin Morris A35, A40, 1000 Traveller (with 948 cc), A Range 1956-62. Austin Morris Mini 850, Mini Countryman, Mini Moke, Mini Traveller, Mini Van, A35 Van, (848cc) form 1959. Austin Healey Sprite Mark I and II, (948 cc, 1958-62), MG Midget (948 cc, 1962) Riley Elf (848cc). These are .040 size. The Vandervell catalogue calls these out as 'heavy duty mains'. Vandervell's have long been considered the best in engine bearings and were the original-equipment bearings for most British engines. They are favored by current race engine builders because of their quality. Vandervell bearings have been out of production for many years. This is a new set from a vintage British inventory. New and just opened to photograph, part number VP592. Vandervell number on the bearing is VP4105. The photo is the actual part. Brazilian VW design director Luiz Veiga celebrates the Beetle in art exhibition

This exhibition proves not only a celebration of the Volkswagen icon, but also an opportunity to learn a little more about one of its exhibitors – Volkswagen Brazil's design director Luiz Veiga. Car Design News attended the opening at OMA – located not far from the VW plant – to talk with Veiga about art and design.

Wed, 30 Jul 2014Jaguar XE S revealed in Jaguar’s ‘Feel XE’ Project launch Jaguar Land Rover has taken to the ‘celebrity launch’ with a vengeance in recent years, enlisting a wide range of faces from Victoria Beckham (and David in China) to Daniel Craig by way of Lana del Rey and a bunch of acting villains. And they’re at it again with the new Jaguar XE. Jaguar has launched their FEEL XE marketing campaign for the XE today, ahead of its debut in London on 8 September, and are putting the talented Emeli Sandé at the front, although there will also be appearances by Stella McCartney and Idris Elba as the XE campaign progresses.
Subaru Cosworth Impreza STI CS400 (2010): more details
Wed, 31 Mar 2010Subaru has revealed more details (and more teaser pictures) of its Cosworth-tuned Impreza. Called the Cosworth Impreza STI CS400, Subaru promises its four-wheel drive hot hatch will have ‘supercar-humbling pace’ and, presumably, be quick enough to match the Mitsubishi Evo X FQ-400 too. Near enough – this Cosworth-tweaked Impreza has 400PS.
