VANSON black leather sport riding pants, made in the USA.  Womens cut size 12, 31" waist, 27" inseam.  Measures 21" around the thigh.  Measures 39" around the hips.  These are all outside measurements -- of the pants, not the person in 'em!

Heavy leather with stretch panels above the knees.  Reinforced panels on the knees.  Fully lined with black nylon.  Zip fly.  Two front deep zippered pockets, and one grippered rear pocket.  Reflective grey bead trim along both legs.  Zippered cuffs to make it easier to fit over your boots.

These pants have a heavy-duty zipper along the inside of the waist, to connect to a Vanson sportrider leather jacket and make a semi-one piece riding suit.

Condition is excellent used:  Clean, near-zero signs of wear, no tears / rips / stains.  The zippers work well.  The only visible wear is some scuffing to the grey reflective bead trim along both thighs, and a couple of 1/4" scuffs on the knees.

Concept Car of the Week: Ford Synergy 2010 (1996)

Fri, 26 Sep 2014

In the early 1990s, the US government instigated the Partnership for a New Generation of Vehicles research program (PNGV). This brought Ford, GM and Chrysler together to collaborate in developing cars that could achieve up to 80mpg, and be ready to market by 2003. While working on the PNGV, in 1996 Ford introduced the Synergy 2010, featuring the firm's 'New Edge' design that debuted a year earlier with the GT90 concept.

Jaguar XKR (2010 / 2011) Ultimate Special Edition – the Video

Wed, 17 Feb 2010

The 2010 Jaguar XKR - with all the options - the Video Earlier today we reported on the (very) minor changes to the Jaguar XK range as a whole for 2010/2011 and also on the very appetising changes Jaguar has introduced for the XKR for the new model year. The changes include the addition of a couple of option packs which make the Jaguar XKR a more hardcore car than it has been to date. These changes have probably come about after Jaguar played with the XKR to produce a Lime Green hot version for last year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the option of graphics on the side certainly owe their existence to the Goodwood Special.

Ford's Jim Farley apologizes to GM for comments in upcoming book

Wed, 03 Aug 2011

Jim Farley -- head of global marketing, sales and service at Ford Motor Co. -- is trying to smooth things over with the folks at General Motors. In a pre-publication excerpt from the book Once Upon a Car by New York Times reporter Bill Vlasic, Farley did some trash-talking about his crosstown rivals.
