VaraRam Snake Charmer Ram Air Intake for 06-13 Corvette (Base LS3 & Z06 LS7) - Retails for $469.00

As the bigger brother to the VR-SC1, you already know how substantial the power gain will be when you install this VR-SC1R kit; but did you know that you'll enjoy noted improvements in both driveability and fuel mileage as well?  This system includes a billet air meter and a washable, reusable air filter that was custom designed for VaraRam and features deeper pleats and more pleats-per-inch than other filters.  As a result, this filter will out-flow a K&N of similar dimension by over 30% while actually offering better air filtration!

Fits: All 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Chevrolet Corvette with LS3 or LS7 Engine (Coupe, Convertible & Z06)
Will not fit 2006 or 2007 Base Corvette with LS2 Engine.  See our website for the proper VaraRam for the LS2.
Quarter Mile ET: 3.5 tenths of a second quicker
Quarter Mile MPH: 3.5MPH faster

Rainwater will not affect this unit, nor will downpours.  You would have to fully submerge the nose of the car to cause any lateral damage to the engine with this kit installed.  Like all VaraRam Intakes, this unit doesn't allow horsepower gains to be accurately measured on a dynamometer because the car is sitting still, not allowing any "ram air" effect at all.  Power increases are noticed at speed, meaning that the faster you go, the more power the VaraRam is adding!  A custom computer tune isn't required for the VaraRam to be effective, but it is a smart upgrade if you're looking for every ounce of horsepower.

Kimi may quit again

Fri, 04 Jul 2014

KIMI RAIKKONEN has revealed he will likely quit Formula One again once his current deal with Ferrari expires at the end of 2015. Raikkonen dropped the bombshell at Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix this weekend, and just eight races into his second coming at Ferrari which has so far been a bitter disappointment. Struggling with a car not to his liking, the hotly-anticipated scrap with team-mate Fernando Alonso has failed to materialise as the Spaniard has comfortably out-qualified and out-raced the Finn.

New Zenos E10 British sports car revealed

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

If you’ve not heard of Zenos Cars, don’t worry – the firm is only a few months old after all. But despite its relatively fledgling nature, the company has got big plans for its new E10 sports car. It’s aiming to take on Lotus, Ariel and Caterham for the lightweight British sports car crown, and with former Caterham chief executive officer Ansar Ali and chief operating officer Mark Edwards – along with ex-Caterham employee Chris Weston – Zenos has certainly got the expertise to succeed.

Lincoln MKX concept revealed ahead of Beijing auto show

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

Lincoln has pulled the covers off its new MKX crossover concept, which is set for a global debut at the upcoming Beijing auto show. Following on the heels of the MKZ sedan and the 2015 MKC crossover, the redesigned MKX will be the third of four vehicles Lincoln says it will introduce by 2016 (the restyled Navigator doesn't count, apparently). Larger than the compact MKC, the MKX concept wears many of its smaller sibling's styling cues -- from the new split Lincoln grille to the lightly sculpted beltline to the upturned full-width taillights.
