Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith receives Silverado
Wed, 05 Feb 2014Winning the Super Bowl is a tremendous achievement, and after the festivities were over on Sunday, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Malcolm Smith received another present in addition to a Super Bowl ring. Smith was voted Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLVIII by fan vote and a media panel on Sunday, during the postgame show. Yet another present was in store for him, as the very next day he received the keys to the official MVP vehicle for this year's Super Bowl, a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country.

The unique piece of South African history is for sale on 28 April at the RAF Museum in Hendon, London. Built in 2004, the silver BMW saloon was donated by employees at BMW’s factory in South Africa to mark the election of Mandela as President of the country and his earlier release from prison.
