Car Design of the Year winners awarded at Car Design Night Geneva 2013

The winners of the 2012 Car Design of the Year Awards, as voted for by Car Design News readers, were announced at the annual Car Design Night at By Pass nightclub on the evening of the first Geneva motor show press day. Over 350 car designers were in attendance to catch up with their colleagues and meet new peers at the first European show of the year. Car Design News' editor, Owen Ready, presented the winners of the annual Car Design of the Year Awards.

Jaguar has released a new video of the XF Sportbrake highlighting its dynamic abilities as the Sportbrake nears Jaguar showrooms. The XF Estate is a car Jaguar should have had from the start of the XF’s life (despite the lack of a 4WD XF at the time), but they’re working hard to make sure the Sportbrake gets market share at the end of the current XF’s life.

First 2014 Corvette Stingray coupes on the way to dealerships

Chevrolet reports it has begun shipping the all-new 2014 Corvette Stingray coupe to dealers starting today. The new C7 Corvettes are, of course, assembled at General Motors' Bowling Green Assembly -- about 1,000 Stingrays have been built so far for delivery. Most are expected to be delivered to dealers within the next few weeks.
