Renault inaugurates Global Design Studio in Mumbai
Fri, 26 Sep 2008On Wednesday this week Renault inaugurated their global design studio in Mumbai, India. The Renault Design India Studio is the sixth edition to Renault's international network of satellite design centres following those in Barcelona, Paris, Kihueng (Korea), Sao Paolo and Bucharest (Romania) and is the third to be inaugurated this year. College Exhibition: IAAD - 'Italian Sportivity: The New Generation'
Fri, 19 Aug 2005Demonstrating the development of new concepts for Alfa Romeo and Ducati, the Automobile Museum of Turin, Italy, has been hosting an exhibition entitled 'Italian Sportivity: The New Generation'. The work was produced by Transport Design students from Turin's Institute of Applied Arts and Design (IAAD). Working with designers from both companies, IAAD students were given a pair of options to chose from: two wheels or four; Ducati or Alfa Romeo.
Design Contest: Ferrari 'New Concepts of the Myth'
Wed, 23 Nov 2005Automotive design students from all over the world gathered in Maranello this week for the award ceremony of the 'Ferrari - New Concepts of the Myth' design competition. The winners were announced and awarded their prizes at Galleria Ferrari, within walking distance of Ferrari headquarters and Ferrari's Fiorano test track. The coveted prizes are six months of exciting and very demanding work at Ferrari and Pininfarina creative centres, under the leadership of Ferrari's Donato Coco (in Maranello) and Pininfarina's Ken Okuyama (in Torino).
