Vintage VDO Cockpit 52mm 12 volt analogue clock for fitment to motorcycles from the mid 1970's to early 1980's.
The gauge is new, in very good condition and has not been trial installed. This is the only motorcycle version of VDO's quartz movement aftermarket analogue clock which I have seen anywhere. The clock is mounted in a metal early version of VDO's gauge mount which has a rubber isolation pad between the mounting bracket and the gauge mount. The clock appears to have a different sealing arrangement compared to normal VDO clocks around the external adjustement knob and the clock glass presumably to give it weather proofing. The clock has a manufacture date of February 1982. The clock comes with original packaging and instructions The clock has been tested to ensure that it works properly.
